Slickline Wireline Lead filled stem are used to provide additional weight to the toolstring, without a change in O.D. and length. It provides the weight required to overcome friction and pressure differential within the stuffing box during wireline operations, allowing the tool string to descend into the well. However, these should not be used for jarring operations.
