It's a master valve for testing from land or jack-up rig. It is normally run inside or below the blowout preventer (BOP) and is used to control well flow. It features a 3" ID, 8" OD with 15Kpsi working pressure. This valve has a through port for chemical injection downhole or to control a subsurface safety valve. It is capable of cutting wireline and coiled tubing using the nitrogen charge or by application of balance line pressure.
